|Client:||City of Surrey|
|Category:||Roadworks, Underground Utilities,|
|Scope:||This project consisted of the installation of 1,135 linear metres of 750mm, 675mm, and 525mm PVC sanitary sewer pipe along the Langley Bypass and the surrounding areas, including a tie-in to the GVRD trunk sewer main.|
Working to Accommodate Traffic
With work being complete in a high-traffic area, the project required night work, with an extensive traffic plan and restricted working hours.
No Room for Error
The storm main was designed with a 0.5% grade, requiring an installation with precision. J.Cote worked with GVRD to safely install the new chamber with a welded poly coating.
