The project also included the excavation and removal of the existing failed culvert, along with the restoration of the collapsed, eroded slopes and riparian zone. |
24/7 Bypass Pumping
Industrial Pumping Solution for Peak Flow Conditions
To mitigate environmental contamination during peak rain events that are common in the BC Fraser Valley, J.Cote set up a 24/7 bypass for the high flowing creek. This included a double-pump setup with floats and back up generators to keep up with high-flow water levels.
Not only were we able to expedite construction and finish the creek works ahead of schedule, the J.Cote team also prevented any environmental concerns.
